SELF LEVELLING SUSPENSION INACTIVE
Query can the 2 be related ie running car with a way under pressure tire and the fuse blowing? I hear no hissing and have seen no change in ride height or ride feel. In the past on 3 occasions i had the error too , especially after long drives but then after turning off and leaving for 30mins plus and back on all was well....just wondering what blew fuse or should i cross that bridge when i happens again?

The air pump working and bad ground will pop a fuse.

After about 5 mins of driving message would pop up, this was the status quo for about 3 days till i got round to replacing fuse....drove about 100 miles today no message after fuse change

Hmm thanks more electrical gremlins....let me see how long the replacement fuse lasts...

Hi sad to be replying to myself but here it goes same time last year had the self levelling suspension error...(mine is self levellling only on the rear axle) it did not droop though or sag and as per this post turned out to be blown fuse.... in rear 30amp one
Year on same driving style and parking on the same raised kerb with the weight on the drivers side(where I got sagging) but this time no blown fuse and had sagging on rear end....so I thought let me hookup the ctek charger to battery for a couple of hours and indeed the indicator did show it was lowish and in need of charging.... 2 hours later took off charger....put key in ignition and turn to first position (didnt start it) and immediately heard the air compressor...low and behold it raised up to its original position fine....so now 2 days later all good... I am wondering with all the electrical gremlins that are inbuilt in these cars, could a low battery have affected the height level sensor causing this issue.? Driving in this heat an it has been prolonged the rad fan is on full blast all the time so may have caused my battery to go weird on me....via the obc I checked via option 9 and the dash displayed 13.8 v -13.9v with the air con on...seems ok(did not load test and turn on the lights radio etc) anyway just letting anyone else know...could be battery related as all i did was top up battery....cheers

Tire does need to be removed to eliminate the air suspension bag as the problem. Once the air bag is removed you easily spray the bag with soapy water. If there is a leak you will see bubbles. Since it is only one side that is sagging it is most likely the bag.
The best way to test the system is with a scanner which will test all components and inflate one suspension bag at a time. The ride height sensor arm can turn over but that happens when the car is jacked up to extend the suspension completely and then the jack dropped quickly. You can check that by looking at both sensor arms to see if they are in the same position. I have had one side sagging. It would be all the way down overnight. When the engine was started it would go to normal height. It was like that for some time. The fuse for the compressor did not blown nor was there any damage to the compressor.

@bcredliner, thanks for heads up, been 5 days now since it inflated back up.....all I did was to charge battery...nuts really, but will keep an eye on it
