EODguy, btw, what symptoms were you having when your interlock cable/gear shift assy went bad?

L1-L4 code and gearshift not show sync with dashboard display and transmission position while on foxwell nt-510 live data.

I suspect that yours will show neutral in live data when going through neutral to reverse, but not when going from park to reverse. Some claim that cleaning the connections will alleviate it as it's a incorrect voltage/resistance making it think it's in the other position, but as I said before I had zero luck with mine..

I see! I had similar before, but it was the transmission switch on the side of the transmission. After verifying lack of continuity in a few positions I followed the tutorials on disassembly and cleaning/bending the contacts for more positive contact and got lucky that fixed it.

So I had it on INPA today and no transmission faults stored, all gears in the right position, everything checks out. I tried actuating the shifter lock solenoid and it worked fine.

What was weird is that after playing with INPA for a while, the interlock between N and R started working!

I thought that fixed it but after driving a bit the N to R interlock stopped working again. WTF?!

So it seems to be an electrical problem. Crap.
