Fluids. Definitely not the tears of mechanical elves. I'm certain that the failure on my last 4.8is was directly related to the donkey who owned prior to me thinking it was ok to run extended periods without change. Everything I either own or have owned has had a major fluid service every two years and the oil gets binned at 5K kms - smart money in my mind.
