Nick_R_23 is on a distinguished road
Alright, checking back in. I haven’t gotten very far with this because I may have another sound issue I need to sort out before I add aftermarket parts into the mix. Current radio is stock (non-Nav), and no DSP. The car is new to me so I’ve never heard the radio and never bothered to even try it since the screen is almost completely dead. However, I started messing with it recently to attempt to get at least some use out of the radio, but I can’t seem to get any sound out of it, period. I used the OE radio guide as a walkthrough on what the screen should look like while matching up to the the working pixels, but no matter what I do, I can’t get sound. I also can’t seem to get any of the resets to function with the Check Control either, but that may be user error. I’m still up for ditching the stock unit, but I’d like to make sure I don’t have additional issues elsewhere. Where’s the best place to start checking things?
