Yeah. Alternators are the kind of part that I buy from FCP.

Another Alternator

Yep, brand new genuine alternator here. First one went 20 years, and was replaced before failure. No reason to allow gremlins to invade by way of a failing charging system.

Keeping the voltage stable on these vehicles seems crucial for proper operation. You don’t want the voltage all over the place with poor quality parts.

I’ve got a window regulator that needs to be replaced. I need an oil change for the engine, gearbox, transfer case, and supercharger. And, a fuel pump coming up on 100,000 miles. So, I’ve definitely got some maintenance coming up, or a pit stop as I call it. LoL..

Thanks for all the help, RealOEM seems very overpriced for a reman unit, so I’m going another direction. Grounds and cables are all tight, so going with a reman alternator, should have it in next week, appreciate the comments about the gremlins that can occur from voltage fluctuations.

Alternator is in and the electronics and lights like the voltage they are getting, all is well. Wished I had replaced it sooner, just not paying attention to the "signs".
