Light bar help

I installed a 20” light bar in the grill of my E53 and tapped the fog light wires to switch it. Both the light bar and the fog light are power cycling when on. Is it because I’m drawing to much current?

Yes, I would say that is likely. You can probably get around that by using a relay.

The light bar should have actually come with a relay or solid state driver and instructions. There should be instructions and diagrams on the internet on how to install.
