Rear Door Triangle Glass Rubber Gasket

Are there any instructions on how to replace the gasket around this glass? I saw maybe 2 post on it with little info. Any instructions from BMW on how to replace it?

Rear Door Triangle Glass Rubber Gasket

I couldn't find for e53 but the e60 should be similar.

As you will see: the gasket wraps around the window so replacing requires remove and replace the window!

Back to black may be a better fix. Or a very careful overlay of black outdoor silicone.

It doesn’t seem like the glass is wrapped around the window on the e53. The gasket can be purchased separately.

- There is more info in E39 5-series forum.
But from what I read it is a lot of work.

- So most ppl buy the black silicone caulk that roofers use
and run a small bead with the finger. Same idea as
caulking bathtub.
