Electrical Issues

After all the motors and transmission I have stuffed into this thing, although the car is running fine, I am having some electrical issues, which are as follows:
Dome lights stay on after I start the car, I open/close doors and they go off.
Dome lights stay on after I stop the car when I leave it unlocked (past the normal 15min), goes off if I lock the doors.
Central locking button doesn't work after car is started, but does if I close doors and lock it before starting the car, once started the doors unlock.
Locking function on the FOB doesn't work unless I press unlock first, but works if I don't start the car.
Four-way flashes come on after I start the car.
Heater control unit blows fuses, but lights on buttons work when headlight are on.
So far I have done the following:
Replaced alternator/battery
Replaced Flasher/Central locking unit
Replaced the Ignition Switch
Changed battery in FOB
Replaced Climate Control Unit,, VAC Blower Motor Resistor and the fuse.
On a side note, since the radio was trash I installed a Head unit, don't recall if the problems were there or after it was installed.

I have to think, except for the heater, everything else had to be related in some way, just don't know what.

Which fuse keeps blowing?

What do you mean by Flasher/Central locking unit?

Sounds like a GMIII module issue. Mine had several glitches and parasitic drains. A coded replacement module fix them all.

Can you scan the GMIII for errors?

Yes, that would be the first point of call. I just wanted to get more details before hitting the cards on the table.

The GMIII module is new for me, I have both a Foxwell NT630Plus scanner and a BMW Scanner V1.4.0, can those be used?

The fuse I replaced was #48, 7.5

Fuse F48 is purely for IHKA (AC control panel) continuous terminal 30 voltage supply. No direct correlation to your other symptoms unless there is some bigger damage on the wiring harness behind front fuse box. (Can be caused for example because of overheating blower final stage (hedgehog).)

GM3 = General module = body control module (behind glovebox) responsible for locking, interior lighting amongst other things.

I did a scan yesterday using my Foxwell and come up with nothing. So that means it's must be all in my mind or I didn't do it right. I downloaded the INPA program on my PC and will give that a shot once it stops raining. Will pull the GMIII module later and get the numbers off it and get another off eBay. Will also take a look at the blower final stage device and see if that got torched again.

1st. Is your foxwell a nt-510 or nt-520?

I ask because many of the other models are either not 100% compatible with the e53 or they're not bidirectional.

2nd. Did you run your scan as automatic or did you choose what modules to scan?

Choosing the wrong modules can sometimes be read only partially.

Also just as a side note the central lock/flasher can have corrosion damage from spills or from a drink causing the plastic to sweat even without a spill.

Don't ask how I know....

It is an Bidirectional NT630 Plus, as you said it may not be 100% right for the car and I did an automatic scan. Still learning all its functions so I probably missed something. On a side note it did fix my ABS, DSC, BRAKE Trifecta on the dash! As for the central lock/flasher, I had installed a new on.
