Help please to confirm part number

Sorry to be pedantic BUT had nightmare time when it was time to source a starter motor for x5...I need the 2 rear air suspension. bags. I checked realoem after entering the last digits of my chassis LX10326 and it listed 3 options for rear air springs for my chassis, am i correct in saying that I need these?

My car has the self levelling suspension (rear only) code on real oem is S220A
and the sport suspension settings code S226A on realoem, and those 2 codes tally with the factory 'build sheet that bmw sent me in german, sois 37126750355 and 37126750356 the way to go?

For vehicles with
Self-levelling suspension
and
Sports suspension settings
S220A=Yes

S226A=Yes
01 Pneumatic spring, left 1 37126750355 $187.40
01 Pneumatic spring, right 1 37126750356 $187.40

Seems right…go to Arnott’s website and check. In fact, you may want to buy from them. I’ve liked their rear air springs for my 02 4.4 with rear only self leveling suspension. Price is (was) right too when I bought a pair over a year ago.

Ta for reply....here is issue tad worried mechanic will be fitting the comfort ones by mistake...and what i read on forum and reply from an arnott technical guy they are interchangeable...not sure good idea but cos sport is stiff and comfort smooth...just curious if anyone went down path of sport to comfort...in my case applies to rear air bags

Doesn't Arnott have only one option which they claim is suitable for both SE and Sport versions? That's quite typical with after market parts and in real life the difference between normal and sport air spring is quite small, not the same level as with coil springs.

I don’t recall having two options when I bought the pair of arnott airbags on my car currently. I paired them with bilsteins (the OE ride ones…b4s I think). Feels like an x5

Clavurion Hi and all thanks replies. I hope you are right and going either way I will have no issue, there was post re sports air springs into a 4.8is? and within post a note from an Arnott technical person saying the 2 springs types are interchangeable on the X5s.

As mentioned I have the sports package, and the self levelling at rear only.

checked there website entered chassis and webpage it breaks, so did it manually and there is no 3.0d listed however there is a range of combinations that over complicates matters but do tally with options shown on realoem...begs the question are they all interchangeable in practice?

The single axle rear airbags are the same regardless of the engine variant.

Thanks Clavurion so they are the same regardless of engine variant, can i only install the sport ones? if this is flagged in my car data sheet as a car with sport spec? or can i go for the comfort and will fit and be ok?

Like trying to get blood out of a stone from Arnott when I asked if the sport variant can be replaced with the comfort version...
2 answers though 1st says no second from same person after some pressing was no yes but implied a yes with issues....to be frank without actually seeing the faulty bags and the bmw oem number i haven't really got a clue whats installed but do know they are nearly 19 years old now from when car rolled of production.

1."Good morning,
Thank you for your e-mail.

The parts A-2503/A-2504 are no equivalents of A-2501/A-2502, what will say that they are not interchangeable.

This is due to the difference in comport and sport suspension."

2."Good afternoon,

The difference between A-2501/02 and A-2503/04 is the lower piston, where the progressiveness of the suspension travel is determined.

We recommend that you take the air springs that originally belong to the car.

There could also simply be a malfunction of the level sensors."

Met vriendelijke groeten, With kind regards,
