Anyone have a StealthOne?

I have been researching radar detectors and think I have decided on the Valentine One. Then I ran across the stealth one which integrates the Valentine One display into the ibus. It seems pretty cool. Is anyone using one and what do you think about it? If you are interested in checking it out, their website is www.stealthone.com. Thanks

Jason

My friend had the stealthone in his e38. He took it out after several months. I asked him why and this is what he said...

1. It is a royal pain in the a$$ to update the software every time they release an update (I think they had several already).
2. He had issues with the iBus.
3. You still need to have the V1 mounted in plain sight. The only benefit he found was the display being moved to the radio.

I think in the end he didn't find it worth the money or the hassle.

Hope this helps...

i think the stealthone is a great idea. I just think it would be "stealthy" if they found another place for the radar unit the passport has. Passports in in the front bumper and on the rear plate. Very discreet.

I've been using an S1 for about a year now and I love it - worth every penny. Last 2 software updates were quick and easy to install, and useful! It does a ton more than "move the display to the radio - read the docs on their website and look carefully at the features and think about how they might be useful - I think you'll see the value. Heck, I'd seriously think about paying full price just to have it automatically confirm the accept screen on the nav - which it does! **No affiliation w/S1 - just a great idea and a great product - I think it's inexpensive for what it does.

I don't have the StealthOne but I do have the V1 and highly recommend it over the Passport.

I have an S1 and I LOVE IT!! Highly recommend it. Install is fairly simple and is a definite DIY project!
