Hardrace vs SDI adjustable control arms
As I'm having alignment issues, I'm thinking about ruling out issues with the adjustable control arms. I have them due to a 1.5 inch lift kit from ecstunning. I never had any experience with either, and would appreciate any input of you tried either, or maybe even both! Wonder if there's been any failures with either. For silver project, I saw photos of them bending, but other people said they were fine. https://streetdrivenindustries.com/search?q=e53 Vs https://hardraceusa.com/collections/x5-e53-2000-2006 I had good experience with Goodspeed for E39, but they have nothing for E53 |

I've had silver design for almost 3yrs. First two with Bilstein B6 / H&R sport springs, last year with KW V3's. My ONLY complaint is rapid corrosion in a salt state (Nebraska). This allegedly could have been prevented with a waxoyl-type protectant, but I failed to anticipate this issue. I plan to replace with same silver arms, but with a good protectant barrier.

I called the alignment shop back, after 2 alignments got knocked out.
They're saying it's the silver project control arms. I gotta get under the vehicle and check those alignment marks again... |
