DSP 2 amp required Australia
My other half took the car through a car wash after she got bat poo all over it when she drove it and apparently it developed a leak so now the DSP amp in the left hand boot well is toast. I'm in Brisbane so if anyone has a unit they took out and don't need I'm after one. I've been to about 10 wreckers the last 2 days and either the car didn't have NAV and therefore DSP or the amp is gone. Every car has the amp removed. Cheers!

They aren't exclusive to the E53. You can also try E38 and E39 chassis. Might help expanding the search.
BTW, I'm surprised how valuable those are getting. There's a quite a few on Ebay and most are $120+. There's one on Aus Ebay for 185Aus, not sure how much you were looking to spend.

Yep I've looked in every 5 and 7 series also. I think people are understanding they can make money off these amps so take them even if they have no use for them. All gutted.......some have the DVD and CD changer left behind.....none have amps $200 shipped to me is pretty steep for something 20 years old that has no guarantee will work or have much life left in it.

dsp amp
Unfortunately, the price of these have gone up on ebay and will continue to go up as said from those who are overpricing them. I do have one that cost me $280.00 AUD from the US if you are interested. I purchased the wrong one as I needed a non-dsp unit. I live in Brisbane funny enough. I’ve been meaning to put it back on ebay but haven’t got around to it.
