Pics of the heater valve and clamps please

I've been using way too many zip ties for the heater hoses around the heater valve, and said hoses have been rubbing against my vanity project painted coil covers. So, I bought the two OE hose clamps that had gone missing over the years but cant recall how they tame the mess of hoses.

I'm hoping that someone can snap a few pics of the general area, and specifically how the hoses are routed around/thru the clamps. There are three clamps, a 4 hose clamp, a 3 hose clamp and a clamp that locks into the valve itself.

No hurry, I wore myself out putting a new regulator in the left rear door, and scrubbing all the non-leather door surfaces with a green pad and a Dawn solution.

Thanks in advance.

Are you 3.0 or 4.4? I no longer have my e53 but I have lots of photos including with intake out that might be perfect. Mine were both m54.

I think you had brought this up a while back, and we found out that the pre-LCI V8's are different than the LCI, so this may not be a huge amount of help. My 4.8is doesn't have as many hoses as yours, but here are pics of the way mine is routed, and at least you can see how the three hose retainer is situated (mine doesn't use one of the spots since I have fewer hoses, but the retainer is the same).

Yep, that would be an important detail! 4.4.

Thanks for the pics LA02. I wasn’t aware this plumbing was different on the 4.8s. The clamps do look similar.

My mess:

I’ve been waiting for the valve to give out so I can pull the bracket, paint it and generally clean the whole thing up.

@Henn28, the 4.4 with N62 (LCI 4.4) looks the same as this.

I just use plastic zip ties, one to bundle the two hoses together, another to tie the bundle to a brakeline to hold it on the side...
this is 4.8 X5 and 750li ...

the original plastic holders always seem to go missing when you get the car or crack in half.
