Airbag light on

Recently I had the dash out to replace the blower motor, all went fine, but after a few days the airbag light on the instrument cluster came on. Have disconnected the battery and checked the connector on the passenger airbag - Ok and reconnected the battery. Light remails on. Don't have a code reader that will read BMW enhanced codes.
Suggestions?

You need a good BMW specific scan tool to read all the codes and reset the airbag light.

X5chemist will become famous soon enough
You can a cheap BMW reader without bidirectional work. I keep the low cost one in the glove box. A Foxwell Pro520 comes out when needed for adaptations, bidirectional control, and deep scanning. Once an air bag codes sets, even if you fix it, you need a scanner to clear its history.
