You need a good BMW specific scan tool to read all the codes and reset the airbag light.

You can a cheap BMW reader without bidirectional work. I keep the low cost one in the glove box. A Foxwell Pro520 comes out when needed for adaptations, bidirectional control, and deep scanning. Once an air bag codes sets, even if you fix it, you need a scanner to clear its history.

I believe this is the cheapest tool you can buy, but i suggest getting dcan adapter and installing ISTA |
