Any lessons learned from the dash R and R? I’ve got final stage resistor on order, but my gut tells me that’s not the cause of my weak and squeaky blower.

Its not for the 12v outlet, I have the plug for it.

As for the Blower motor replacement - Its a lot of work but also pricey to have done! I had an estimate for a good indie shop for $1700 including a new BMW motor. Basic labor is around $1200.
I'm was able to park it and work on it a few hours a day following a youtube video from "diyardi" note : he does this without removing the console and steering wheel, I found that his method about prying out the lower dash above the center concole rather vague - what needs to be done is to pry the black piece back towards the rear of the car while lifitng on the dash.
Also watch all the wiring connectors especially the front speaker so they don't get lost.
And putting it back together requires patience, a lot of not-so-nice words and time.
