Year, engine, mileage, history, code descriptions ??
If those hard faults are pointing to the ABS module and you checked the basics then the problem could the ABS module itself.

Regarding the EGR fault. I have blanked the EGR valve so there is nothing coming in from the exhaust manifold.

I will check the glow plugs tomorrow to see what can be fixed there.

On the transfere case communication. What does that imply? I have checked the actuator motor previously and the gears were in good condition.
I will try to have a look tomorrow on the car and see if there is anything obvious that is fixable, like a loose connection etc.

Thank you

The code is for the controller unit, which is mounted on the block below the intake manifold...

Thank you, i will check later.

As regards the glow plugs. I think mine may be the original plugs and my car has done about 180k.

How long should the plugs last for and is it wise to change the controller unit at the same time as changing the plugs?

Thanks

By 200k kms I had four glow plugs errors and since the controller module is known to fail, as well as the glow plugs, I replaced all six glow plugs and the module at the same time.

At 280k kms I now have a single glow plug error (cylinder #1) but I think that it's a connection issue - seems to be intermittent.

At 180k, if you are in there, I'd replace all glow plugs and the controller.

Yes, that does make sense to do all 6 and the controller too.
It has to be done sooner than later, especially as it is getting colder now.

When it comes to glow plugs what is the better brand to go for? I know on ebay you can get 6 plugs for £25 and the most expensive (Bosch) plugs are around £60.00.
What would you go for ?

Thanks
