Godspeed MonoRS Coilover Reviews??

Hi folks. New 2003 Imola 4.6is owner (long time multiple BMW owner). My 4.6is is a restomod project. I'm working on my front subframe refresh and need to make a decision. Either refreshing with OE struts/Bilstein B4 and H&R lowering springs or Godspeed MonoRS coilovers. Considered the KW v3 but ruled them out. Does anyone here have experience with the MonoRS coilovers? Searching here and google doesn't yield much except Godspeeds ad copy.

I’m only qualified to weigh in on the B4s…I’ve got them on my E53 and really like them over stock. Definitely stiffer than OE. I think the B6 version would be way too stiff for my needs. I’ve also got Turner monoball upper control arms, paired with OE lowers. Roads in my town are terrible and I was blowing through OE control arms in 2 years. Turner stuff is great so far, and definitely can feel them…car feels much tighter. The lower control arms are easier to change so swapping out 80 dollar lowers every 2 years doesn’t hurt as much.

On my 4.4 I went with B6's and H&R springs, I replaced everything in the front that was suspension related and also replaced the airbags in the rear. The ride is stiffer, but to me not uncomfortably stiffer. On my 4.6 I went with BC coilovers. I would say that the ride is comparable to how my 4.4 rides currently and the reason I went with coilovers on the 4.6 is I was disappointed in the ride height with the B6's and H&r's. I know that lowered the vehicle but its minimal at best and the coilovers allowed me to get the look I was wanting. I know that BC gets alot of hate but I run them on my e38/9/53 and my e60 and have been very pleased.

What's the spring rate on the BC coilovers?

The Godspeeds are 8kg/mm front and 12kg/mm rear.

I believe that they are the same or very similar, if you contact BC they will allow you to choose your spring rates for a custom order and they also offer and "ultra low" selection as well.
