Aftermarket throttle body plug& play right ? WRONG

Installed new throttle body on a once smooth idling M54. (225k)
Once installed...
The idel is crap crazy! Idel bounces up and down, up and down.... never settles down or smooths out!
Smooth as butter before I installed the aftermarket TB.
Doesn't recognize the gas pedal!
I'll de-install tomorrow!

Do these need to be callabrated?

What gives?

You need to reset the throttle adaptations when you install a new throttle body.

You can also do it with INPA or MS43X (both free) an old laptop, and a USB cable. This is the one I use and it works fine. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GRG44FP...d_asin_title_1

Got to find the foxwell...in storage somewhere.
Installed a boneyard unit off the shelf... now I'm back to the magic carpet ride...now where is that foxwell!
