Registering the battery
So I had the dealer replaced a battery back in 2018. The battery just died recently May 2025. I remember they said they had to pair the battery to the vehicle. I read that with our model, the battery does not need to be paired to the car. Just install and go.

Is it really a thing where you can pair the battery to the X5? Could that be the reason this battery lasted to long?

the battery was a Bosch AGM battery
