Heater blower gone mad

Well I managed to get hold of a new old stock original FSR. The sticks on it are much larger than the others I have and it was a right pig to get into the space it was supposed to go into.
It's also an all aluminium construction and not a plastic body - which makes it heavier and can cut your forehead if you drop it when trying to install it..
Anyway, it seems to be working OK but it won't be until in the week when it gets a proper test.

They redesigned with thin and more "sticks" for much better heat sinking but they usually last over a decade we bought our two 2001s in 2015 they both failed within 3 years but were both original tapered heat sink pins.

The more mass, the better initial heat sink the more pins/ surface area the better continuous heat removal. If you take short trips the OG style the one for you
