g300d is on a distinguished road
So here it is. It is indeed a BMW part.



Found a BMW part number on it - 51 13 7 039 261. Comes out as a BMW-Mini part also.


Here is the old switch cover, just break it off and clean the edges of the oval hole.


Old switch cover removed and you can see the 2 microswitches. Watch out for the microswitch pad, the one on the right fell with the switched and I just snapped it back on.


Old vs new switch cover. Bit of a difference and the microswitch pads now contact the ribs instead of being between the ribs previously. Was concerned it may not fit, but it does. Thinking about it now, should I remove the outer ribs?

If its working, I'd leave the ribs alone. Didn't that come in Jaguar packaging?

Yes its working now so may just leave it alone.

Came in Land Rover packaging, got it from an LR parts place.
