Odd power drop

Driving home from the airport last night after it'd sat out in the rain all week, this started happening: cruising along about 35mph in town, it felt like I was lifting the accelerator a little even though I hadn't. Giving it a little more gas worked, but I remember having this problem last year that went away when the fuel pump was replaced in January, but I only evern noticed it at highway speeds.

Related? Hope the new fuel pump (Delphi) isn't already failing.

It could be the pump or even the electrical connections for the pump. Filter, jet pump or something else.

Pressure at rail while running is the first step to find a cause.

Usually confirmed with fuel pressure gauge. That's my guess knowing the pump was replaced. Can't remember if the FPR was also replaced

Followed Andrew's advice with my similar problem, fuel pressure was low and one of the things we found on inspection was a hole in the plastic hose of the fuel pump/float module.

Just one of the things to check if you replaced just the electric fuel pump and not the entire module.

It was not. Just ordered a new one.
