Adhesive for Door Panels
Hi Guys. I think I've finally found the best adhesive for the door panels. The plastic parts that fall off the door cards. I've tried hot glue and several types of epoxy and none held up. I tried this bumper adhesive: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BX4P741M...d_asin_title_1
I've had to remove the first door card I used it on several times since I did it and no signs of it letting go. I did some cleaning and a little sanding of the original glue. Cut off the pieces that had extended through the plastic parts and cleaned out the holes. This stuff goes on very easily thanks to the mixing tube. Very easy to control the placement. It says it sets up in six minutes, but I found it takes a little longer. It is ready to sand in an hour. Not that your going to. You can definitely put the door panel back on after an hour as it is plenty hard by that time. I had to reattach a couple of the parts that hold the clips and those are holding up as well. |

That's a great tip. I've used very similar stuff and love the automatic epoxy tips.
They are single use but you can keep using a squirt at a time as long as you use at least under five minutes. You can squirt out a non use squirt to restart the clock Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
