Does anyone know where the Auxilary Fan control is located?

Does anyone know where the Auxilary Fan control is located?

Hi All,
I have a 2002 X5 that is losing it's charge (battery). I had the battery replaced for 300$ (dealer installed et cetera) about 2 months ago. They say they have tested everything and it is not the battery. What they did find is that the auxilary fan is coming on while it is parked and draining the battery and not allowing it to start in the morning. They say that they want 850$ (to 1000$) to repair this and I don't want to pay it

. Has anyone ever encountered this problem before?
