4.4 sport Ride height

Hey Everyone i was curious i have a 05 4.4 sport and am getting the #87 wheels for it. Does it have the same ride height as a 4.8is when there driving? I know you can lower the 4.8 but when normal driving do they both sit at the same height as the other? Thanks for the help everyone.

Yes, the ride height of an X w/o the adjustable suspension is the same as a 4.8 (or a 4.4 w/ adjustable suspension) set to the middle height, which is what's typically used.

I always thought that the full air suspension in middle setting is a little lower than an X5 without airsuspension. I could measure it and let you know. My cousin has a non air suspension. But just by looking at them his def looks higher.

Yes, do measure it...anecdotally, X5Monkey has a 4.4i with ride-hide adj suspension with sports package and his sister had a 3.0i with sports package and X5Monkey stated that his 4.4i at the middle adjustment was lower, maybe about 3/4 to 1 inch lower as compared with a X5 with non height adj suspension.

I seem to remember reading the ground clearance specs for the 2 being the same when the adjustable suspension is in the middle setting, but I guess a real-world front/rear measurement from the wheel wells to the ground will tell us!
