bmw tv function

I have a 2004 BMW X5 3.o Sport with tv function.The latest models have digital tv function,does anyone know of any retro kits to upgrade this function.

i thought all x5s had the TV function hidden in some menu only the dealer can access. A tech said he would do it for me on the side and i have not got around to it yet

In the UK, 2005 models are fitted with a digital tuner, not analogue.

In Dubai (same as Europe models) - we have Analogue + Digital tuners.

Hi NITIN,

What channels do you pick up in Dubai? I seem to get terrible reception over here. No more One TV either - only satellite now!!

Hi,
I have a 2005 X5 with Digi/Analogue Tuner and it works when it feels like it! I live by the beach and can only get a few analogue channels if I'm lucky. But if I drive inland for a few miles I get alot of both analogue and digi channels. I think the problem is that the transmittion in alot of areas is limited and the ariel in the car isnt the best !
