Works great

It works great, the only problem that I have heard of is that some claim that eats the rubber on the wipers.

I normally replace wipers every six months so I can't really tell if this is true.

I like it too, but the orange color leaves some discoloration/crud around the headlamp sprayers that doesn't come off in the brushless/hand car wask. I always end up wiping it off my self or scrubbing it.

Think it works great but the orange residue looks NASTY. Especially with the bad weather when you can't wash the X as often as necessary.

Excellent stuff. Better to apply when the humidity is low and has some time to "cure". Let the glass bake in the sun, then pull it into a shaded area to apply. Less than 90 days until monsoon season.

I'm the one who had the problem, but switching to Rain-X brand wipers resolved the problem - I normally change wipers on my (ex)van within 6 months, but for some reason my wipers were leaving a black sticky residue after using Rain-X for 3 months - I have been hesitant to use Rain-X in my X5 as I don't know how the Bosch Icon wipers will hold up - Others have evidently experienced no problems - I agree, it works great - Who knows, it may have been a bad batch.

Benz, Volvo, VW, it appear the European wipers live fast and die young. Must be the denuded ozone layer we have here courtesy of Big Oil.

Hmm. Odd. The Rain-X washer fluid I have is green and dries perfectly clear
