Help!!

I was hardwiring my V1, when I realized I needed a different scredriver, was going to drive to Home Depot, turned key to start and all I got was a clicking...... All electrical still works, including stereo, locks etc....

Cant push out of garage to boost as I cant get it out of park.

Any suggestions?????

x5 no start

Your best bet is to get a jump pack and jump start vehicle in engine compartment.

So even though all of the electrical works, it is probably the battery?

Thanks for the input

If the battery isn't more then a few years old then I would do a trickle charge on it to see if it can be restored to normal operations. If not, just replace it. No need to take it in to the dealer unless there are dash warning lights that don't go out after driving for a short while.

02 x5 has 4years/50,000 on batterys I would bring it to the dealer if you fall within warranty ( do not mention to dealer that you possibly drained the battery when installing the v1) or else I would charge the battery and then retest
