Where can i get a front skid plate?

As title says, what i think is called a front skid plate is a metal looking, aerodynamic guard that goes just under the front spoiler. I have seen it on a 2004 4.4i and i cant seem to find it online.....maybe cuz i am calling it by the wrong name. Anyway, if anyone can post a link or a picture i would greatly appreciate it. Also, price and install instructions if anyone has done it themsleves.

Thanks in advance

Its called a decorative skid plate. BMW part number is 82110021339. Price in the catalog is $209.00. It is not metal but is made of urethane so you will need to factor in painting as well. I hear the install is very easy.

You can definitely paint it yourself. By two cans of silver automotive spray paint as a parts store and go at it. Then buy some clearcoat. The materials won't cost any more than $20. A dealer will want $200 or so to do that work.

Whistle

I ordered mine at the BMW dealership...I checked their painting department and they coated $110 just to paint it and $100 to install it! Instalations seems easy, I just have to spray paint it...Its just plastic...
