Unhappy Hood Roundel

Hey Guys,

I was giving my X a bath today and realized my hood roundel is starting to peel apart Where's the best place to get a replacement?

Thanks

P.S. Mother's All Wheel Wheel Mist worked AMAZING!! Just spray it on, wait two minutes and spray it off! Bye bye brake dust!

Don't forget to get a couple of the little rubber grommets that go on the backside of it.

Michelle, This happened to my hood roundel last year after a random car wash. Very easy to replace. Picked up at Bavarian Autosport for $12.95. Check out on:

www.bavauto.com

make sure you specify X5 hood roundel. To remove the old one, simply pry and lift with thin-bladed flat head screwdriver. Hint: use a soft cloth between where the hood and screwdriver meet so as not to scratch your hood. I'm sure your original two rubber grommets will be fine, so make sure you save them when taking the old one off. The new one just pushes/snaps into place. Very easy!

Good luck!

Just had mine replaced at the dealer $14.70 - My question is 'Does the Roundel peel often?' & 'How many of us have had to replace it?'
