Bi-xenon failure problem help :(

So for a while my x5 on the passenger side has had the "lazy eye" as in the xenon projector points to low and to the side. I tried playing around with the control knobs to make it point the other way but its a no go, its stuck in one place.

Today I got into my car and it said "low beam headlight check" so to my surprise that same "lazy eye" on the passenger side has gone out.

I tried to swap the bulbs but nothing turned on the xenon remained off. The whole headlight itself works the angel eyes and the turn signals turn on. But the xenon itself wont..

Is there a seperate "xenon fuse" or something i can check??

please help thank you
