Red Illumination???
Hello All,

I'll be a new '06 X5 4.4i owner soon as I am currently waiting on delivery...this will be my 1st BMW. Damn, I cannot wait to get it!

Anyway, does anybody know the story behind all BMW's with red illimination gauges? The red is ok but I see other vehicles with some cool color illumination to their gauges/dials and always wondered why BMW has always had them red. Anybody know why?
