E90post.com popped up in Google on this one. It looks like the guys there are all over it. Here's a DIY thread:

Whats up, DBlock? You're right. I didn't notice the sections are sown differently on the tops and bottom of the wheel. I was too busy noticing the perforated leather...
It's a Euro M Sport wheel that came out in Sept 05 on the E87 (1 series) and E90's M Sport vehicles, Euro #Part 32307906846. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partxref....=on&series=E90 Take note folks - slightly different wheel! Picture is attached.

they have to have the heated option in the new ones... and someoen said the sport package x5 doesnt have the heated option but i have the sport package steering wheel and i have the headed steering wheel...
anyways how much does that cost around ??
