Many thanks to all of you for your posts - especially andaya - that's a kind offer.
I have been in contact with a techy at my local dealers who is going to help me out with getting the necessary parts (very cheaply  ).I will post the pics of the new wheel fitted. Still looking for an airbag though. There are a few on ebay, but dated 2001 ish. 5 years is surely a long time in airbag technology????
