Wiring help for paddle shift steering wheel

I have searched through all of the threads and can not find any detailed wiring help for this mod.

I have just purchased an M3 steering wheel with paddle shifters to fit to my 2005 X5 Sports. Does anyone have specific details re the wiring to make the paddle shifters work? Is there anywhere I can buy the wiring connectors from?

I have emailed a company who specialises in this bmw-paddleshift-retro or something like that. They want to charge $500 or so for a kit.

I thought all I needed was the steering wheel, hub, airbag and wiring connectors?? It's the wiring connectors I need help with.
