19s vs 20s

Well boys and girls it finally happened, the mod bug bit me. Not sure if it's spring fever, X5World or both, but I've held out long enough. After 14 months of driving a stock 4.4, I'm about to explode. I promised myself I wouldn't do it, I lied... won't be the first time. I would like some opinions please. Ride, handling,or just personal preference. I'm looking at both the 87's and 132's. I sure hope I like the new X5, really don't feel like Ebaying my new toys, I have a feeling new shoes, RB's and pedals are just the begining.

I have Style 87 and LOVE them! They have that aggresive OEM look! Very easy to clean.

I think those would look amazing on the X! There are a few sets of those on eBay. It would be nice if they had those in 22s.

I'm liking the 128s, now talk to me about the difference is ride / handling 19s vs 20s

Ride is cushy on 19". Handling is better on 20". Your call.

I'm struggling with the same decision... 132's in 19" and 87's in 20" both look great, but I'm trying to figure out if the 20's handle appreciably better - at least enough to offset the bumpier ride, and the risk of bending on a big pothole...

I've heard that it's actually pretty tough to bend a well-made 20" wheel on an X5 though... has anyone ever done it???

L: I love the 87s, though those 128s are pretty
fine, too.

I sprung for barely used 132s, though that was
pricey enough, imo.

Oem 87s were simply priced outta my rationalizing
ballpark and, I am not a replica fan.

I love my 19" 132s...I would loved to have gotten
20" 87s. Pick your poision!

MD - I agree on the OEMs
Suneil - I'll take the handling over cushy any day

So you guys are admitting size does matter

Decisions, decisions so its 87's or 128's. Only the shadow knows
