I met Steve Dinan a few years ago. It was for a grand opening of a closed test track behind a dealership here in Houston. He is an absolute fanatic about Dyno's.
His biggest beef is with companies out there that over-estimate their HP and TQ ratings by using piss-poor dyno's or over-exagerate their claims.
If Steve says his stuff gets X HP, you can be pretty sure it's not less than the numbers advertised. That's about the only nice thing I have to say about Steve and his extremely-overpriced product line.
Unfortunately, we X owners don't have a whole bunch of options to choose from.
