Best 3 Engine Mods For 4.4

If you had to choose, which 3 engine mods would be to your greatest advantage on a 4.4? Intake? Exhaust? Chip? Throttle body? Etc.........

If an S65 engine swap is out of the question, then CAI, chip, and exhaust would be the order of choice for me. Throttle body or MAF would be last.

For chip upgrades, who has chipped their ride with who's chip? Dinan always understates his HP ratings. European chip (if that's it) claims on a 4.6 something like 20HP and 20 Fft/lb f torque. This seems REALLY high. Their price is around $650 and you get to install it yourself.

I'm looking for any mods that can increae mileage. And, since an engine is nothing more than a glorified air pump, I was thinking a CAI first, then chip and then exhaust mods to reduce as much backpressure as possible.

I'm not sure of the X pipe but I do like what I'm hearing about the shorter resonators. What I thought I read earlier last week was there was a degradation in low end torque after the X pipe was installed and then when the shorter resonators were installed they got it back. So, if I interpreted this correctly, for all time and money, all you got for it was a louder (more robust...) exhaust sound. Am I correct here?

I did the Dinan S2 upgrade and hwy mileage dropped about .5 mpg. Local driving a bit more because I love the sound too much. Starting to think "Do they make headers for the 4.4?" Redline from the Dinan upgrade increased to 6200 and HP to 315 (min). I would like to get my own dyno test though. But she does fly!!
