Intensive windshield cleaner?
Does anyone know what this is used for and if it is still availalbe from BMW. It seems to be in many of their various accessories catalogues. Thanks.

When your windshield shows signs of what appears to be "staining" or a darkened area that is outwith the sweep zone of the windshield wipers or even when the windshield shows signs of severe wax contamination then use the stuff to strip the muck off back down to the glass surface. It is amazing how a freshly cleaned/cleared windscreen looks once you have become accustomed to the mucky one...!

Ah, no Xpert, but I would think ammonia & water
and newsprint, along with some elbow grease would give the same benefit. Glass cleaners have been around since windows... there are literally hundreds and hundreds. Ammonia, a touch of detergent and warm water is hard to improve upon. The newspaper does a good job too, before final wiping. But, if the BMW stuff floats your boat, GL,md
