broknlgs24 need your help

Hi, Would you ask your friend in vizualogic a Q. I installed the viz headrest monitors set them for PAL format (europe) but I can only get pics in black and white. I tried several devices all the same. If I change the format to NTSC and use my laptop and make it NTSC I have colour
Am I doing something wrong or is there something that needs to be changed somewhere.
Thanks,
Mark.

I work in the post production field, I am very familiar with both NTSC and Pal systems (from an engineering point of view). The first thing I would need to know is: you said you could see a B&W image in the Pal mode. when you see the B&W image is the ratio normal, or is it streched on the verticals. From what I understand you have a combo screen/dvd plyr. both dvd and screen must be in pal and the dvd needs to be multi/format and multi/zone. if the image is strech then your monitor is still in ntsc mode, or is not receiving a pal signal (either brodcasting Pal in ntsc or vice-versa).

well, i heard back from the rep. at Vizualogic. unfortunately, he's never heard of such an issue. u've stumped him. he did go on to suggest contacting their tech support though; which, i'm sure u could've already guessed that. sorry.... let us know what u find out.
