Old running boards what to do with them?
I had my running boards changed under warranty recently and I am getting the old ones back and I was wondering what to do with them ? They have marks on them where acid was used to clean the car when new and has got worse over the last year. I have had a few ideas as what to do with them. What do you guys think ?

1 Try and get them polished so I have a spare set so when the new ones look like crap can swap them over

2 Get them anodised if poss

3 Spray them or get them powder coated (Black maybe)

Any other suggestions welcome!

I am afraid I dont. Also I would not like to ship them anywhere as BMW warranty had to send two sets as they kept getting damaged on the way to the dealer.

Amy ideas guys ?

E61Silver is an unknown quantity at this point
Same Size
I assume that you have upgrade to the boards with Alum on them. Are the Alum boards the same size?

X5 Sport - we have plenty of members on the other side of the pond. Post them in the SAV Items for sale. You might find some members in close proximity who might be interested in buying your parts. The cost is free and you have nothing to lose.
