check Low Beams ***HELP***

My alternator died :-( (52K miles on a 02). Took it to the dealership and had them swap out the alternator but the indicator never went away. The dealership didnt check it so I will have to take it back tomorrow. Anyone have any ideas on why or how both lights could have gone out. Could it be a fuse? If so, which one?

Thanks in advance!

Do the lights actually work. If not then chage bulbs. Could also be a faulty LKM. Dying altenator can produce over voltage.

Do they light?
LKM - Light Control Module.

FWIW
I once had an electronic board repair business and did a number of digital dashes and ECus. I fixed an Acura ECU that had burned out components when the alternator fried and started churning out 18V -20 V AC. The vehicle shop were very surprised I could make the ECU "Talk" again.

Check fuses and bulbs. Both bulbs could have burnt out.

Ok, I purchased replacement bulbs but they did not work either. Where is the fuse(s) for the lights? Specifically the low beams?

thanks in advance!

Joe

Check:
Fuse 002, Fuse 009, Fuse 105, Fuse 107, Fuse 108.
Those are all associated with the modules in the lighting circuit.
