A/C Heater Blowing Very Hot Air
Hey everyone. I just recently registered to xoutpost.com but I've been lurking around here for months. I think the site is great. It's helped me fix multiple problems on my 01 x5 4.4i and conduct basic maintenance.
For a couple months now, whenever I set the A/C on defrost or I set the controls to hot (the three red dots not the degrees) the A/C will blow out extremely hot air REGARDLESS of what degree I have it set to. It is the same sort of hot air at any degree. I checked out the Final Stage Resistor DIY and was wondering if this was for me or if anyone else has any insight on this problem. Thanks for any help. Edit: I just realized I put this in the e70 forum. So, I'll be posting it in the e53 forum. |

There basically isn't any go-between temperature. There's very cold, cold, slightly warm, then very very hot.
