Unhappy The X almost died!!

Remeber I made a thread a while ago when the X acelerated outta nowhere while backing up? It happened today on the streets!! At a red, I slowly depressed the pedal and all of a sudden it wnt to like 6k rpm and I zoomed across the intersection. People were staring at me and people in their homes came out because if the noise. They thought there was a accident. Good thing no one was speeding across the red or the would have been killed (or if it was a truck, it would have been me). After that, I just slowed down and went to the side. Last time it happened, it didnt happen again, so I didnt take it to the dealer. But, now I will take it. I mean 3 tons out of control is deadly!! Anyway, I was wondering if this had happened to anyone. Ive heard it was a tranny software thing, so I tell him to do that. BTW, I have a X5 4.4w/ all options except the dvd player.
