3. i would think your car would be improve handling wise like lane changing and curve taking maneuver. the spring is stiffer and you lower the center of gravity in your car

4. same thing.

i hope this help correct me if im wrong on any of the items.
Thanx for helping me out on these queries!
I had this in my head for ages...and now the truth finally reveals!

Just one more question, with the kits you buy...you recieve 4 springs right? 2 for the front and 2 for the rear?
Wouldn't the 2 rear springs in the kit, be useless? Since on rear is fitted with air-suspension already?
So on our X5s we only need the front springs fitted? and lower the rear via DIS from the dealers?

So on our X5s we only need the front springs fitted? and lower the rear via DIS from the dealers?

Depending on which X5 you have , the kit contents vary.

Conventional suspension- four springs

Rear air springs- two springs for the front w/ lowering links that fool the level sensors into lowering 1-1.2 inches (H&R) or instructions to have your rear lowered via DIS.

Four wheel air springs- Visit your friendly BMW dealer to have your X lowered via DIS or buy a module to adjust height without visiting the dealer.

I don't see any reasons why not as long as you don't lower the X too much. Should be fine.

Happy motoring!
