Sorry I can't help you there...Mine are red and brown. My guess is the browns stay together but I would not guess in this case. Email Nick at [email protected] and he will get right back to you with the real answer.

Hope that helps.

I've been doing my homework.
To elaborate on your elaboration:

The remote activation (footwell light trigger) syncs the AE to your footwell lights when the ECU is off. This means the AE will also stay on when you turn off your car and open the door, then fade off in sync with the interior lights. I love this feature as it illuminates my garage at night as I'm walking around my car to the passage door.

The ECU trigger overrides the remote trigger so that the AE is always on when your X5 is running.

I grounded mine the same place, it was no brainer as I saw that small cable there as well.

Good choice on the ground point. This is an example of why you can't bolt on a ground to just any point on the body. If this was the case there wouldn't be a need for that hood cable as the hinges would provide a ground to the body.

Does anybody have their Angle Eye wired to be turned on by a relay switch (like with foglight switch for example), rather than as day time driving light? How do you tap these wire so you can turn on the Angle Eye when you want to? Thanks.

Justin.

Can you tell me how you got the rings to stay in place? I tried to do the install but was unable to remove the black part in front of the headlight that had the clips holding the waffles . I did remove the waffles and could not seem to put the halos in place.
TIA.
