Will they let you trade for a Supercharged Sport model? That may help a bit...

You replaced with the flagship HSE or the new Sport? Confused. IMO, the HSE still has a nice curb presence.

actually i drove the supercharged, and was thoroughly disappointed with the blower, assuming the hse wouldn't be that much slower. the car is for the wifey and she wanted the the bigger one not the sport. definitely has curb appeal, it's at the shop being modded. wheels color matching and bush grill

The older BMW engined one was nice. Although I agree it could never hold a candle to the X. Then again, rev it high enough, the 4.4i engine was loud that at least you think your going fast.

Funny ... I just traded my 2006 Land Rover LR3 HSE in (well, sort of a dealer buyback) and ordered a 2006 X5 4.4i with sport pkg.

I had an '03 X5 4.4i (sans sport pkg.) and should have just gone for another one; but I thought I would try the Land Rover. BIG MISTAKE!! Very poor customer relations - right up to the corporate level. Problems that are pointed out suddenly become "operating as our engineers designed "

Glad I'm back in the BMW fold and eagerly awaiting delivery of my X.
