What do you think!!!

I'm thinking of doing some modding to the X as far as interior/exterior titanium trims and with Wuzin's help I'm able to preview some of the stuff I'd like to do. Just want to get some opinions before doing it!!! Thanks to all for your opinions and to Wuzin for the photoshop work!!! On the first pic you see the Titanium fog light cover!!! Second picture is of Titanium air outlets!!! Third picture has the titanium roof rack, mirror cover, and trim around windows, as well as pillar covers!!!

The exterior chrome doesn't do it for me at all - especially the gas door, mirrors, and the fog light surround. The interior looks fine.

You can't really tell but it's meant to be titanium silver like the handles , not chrome!!!!

Even still - I think your X looks great without that stuff!

Not feeling the chrome on the outside.

Foglight surronds - no
Hood Air outlets - yes (use OEM)
mirrors - no
door handles - no
gas tank lid - hell no.
door pilars - no. too much prep work to accept paint. probably would chip after awhile from repeated handlings.
roof rack - maybe. paint would probably chip. you might have to get it sandblasted and clearcoated.

What about titanium window surrounds? Use the chrome surrounds from the non-sport X5's, hit them with steel wool to get a matte finish, and clear coat them for a titanium appearance? Your pillars would remain black for contrast. There's a couple of others X5's modded similarly (Kuwaitano) and it looks good IMHO.

I think we've all seen worse. I'm not big on chrome wither, so the titanium would look better IMO. However, the gas tank lid is a definite NO!!
