the black stripes alongside the x5 seem to be too small for that imo...


check it out on the 5 sedan, much thicker...



now check it out on the X



now would this look better or no?
i would almost pay anything for a bigger piece of plastic...wat do u guys think

It does look pretty good for contrast. But I hate how the badge and indicator are in the way of fully completing the strip.

mmm, originally I liked the way it is. But I kinda like the thicker stripe. I would prob stay with the way it is just because it is a cleaner look.

That's an older E39 model. The 2001-2003 E39 5-series had the strips painted as the same color as the car.

Nix the thick strip idea.

Another NO vote here. I'd actually vote for you painting your thin door ding strips silver to blend better with your TiAg paint. I wanted to do that but since my X is Steel Gray, the black blends rather well as is.

Painting the stripe in Black Carbon would be nice
The carbon is visible if you stand by the side of the car but on distance it looks black (OEM). Should not be hard to make a mold for those pices
